Drove a '01 MB E320 the other day.
A friend of mine asked me to do the rear brake pads on her sister's MB and since I knew they wouldn't try to stick some other problem on me I went ahead and did it (it's my policy not to work on anything that I can't afford to fix in the event that I mess something up or get blamed for something). When I got the car off the ground I learned that it is AWD.
After the brake job I drove it around a little and really like the feel of it. Reminded me of my brothers newer Nissan AWD SUV that I drove the last time I was in Pittsburgh. Real aggressive, strong feel. One day I may try to get my hands on one of the AWD R cars.
