I read that too. I've never been a fan of Saab... just don't find them to be attractive at all. But, the more and more car brands that fall, the less options we buyers have. Sad day indeed.

I personally like Saab, when it was Saab! The problem with the new Saabs is that there are no Quality materials in the cars. They are all made of cheap plastics and most of the "purists" over time have found other cars to buy... I hope that this doesn't happen to Volvo as we all have seen some of the materials in Volvos seem cheaper post Ford ownership.

 

I agree. I would never buy a newer saab. 900s and 9000s for me, and some of the early 9-3/5s. Same thing with Volvo. I don't know if anyone has seen the 2011 S60, but it doesn't look like a Volvo at all, looks like a lexus, and if that's the direction that's going to be taken with Volvo, I won't buy any of the new ones, I think if I go out of the pre-98 era, I would only go 04-07, the Rs.

 

+1 Gilber! I do not like the new S60 at all, but I guess its a start to the new generation!
