Here are some pics to kinda show what I was thinking...

Florida sun bake your paint to death?

On any tuner I think it fits. I'm not a big fan of a matte finish myself, which is what that wrap kind of resembles. Looks better under the light.
I think you would have to wrap or paint the wheels the same shade as well.

Yeah the miami sun destroyed my clear.

I was just thinking that cause, it would only run about $500 total and a soild paint job would run me about $1500.

I do appreciate your input, I felt the same way about the matte finish..

Man, I thought a cf wrap would run about $5,000. That is sick! I think it would be to much of a good thing. I say paint it. Heck, many people don't like Maco but I got a real good paint job on a car once there. It was about $900 I think.

Other than that, does the FL sun kill paint on cars that are hand washed and waxed 4+ times per year? I do realize your car is 15 years old. We have less sun but the paint last forever when hand washed & waxed regularly.

HD wrap. I can't believe someone is driving that thing around. I have thought about getting another car to use as my 2nd car, then taking pics of a car with the skin removed, and have the car wrapped in that. Give it a look that the car has finders missing, hood off, trunk missing, etc.

Or give the impression that the (whatever model car you put it on) is going back into production because you are driving a test car.
Usually car companies either cover the bumpers and such with netting, or they wrap it like this to thwart spy's.

Additionally give the feeling that the (whatever model auto you put it on) is backtracking into creation since you are driving a test auto.

More often than not auto organizations either blanket the guards and such with mesh, or they wrap it like this to defeat spy's.

Dirt and road film will stick much more stubbonly onto a matt finish and harder to scrub clean.
That finish is okay to feature certain parts or trim but not the whole car in my opinion, especially in darker colours.

True, and I think that is the biggest down side to wrapping any car you plan to drive regularly.

If you do it, I also agree the wheels would need to be a muted finish that doesn't clash with the wrap.
