Finished the timing belt! Had to exchange the serpentine belt at Autozone, so I put that on this evening after work. She's purring like a kitten.

Car is sanded and ready for paint. Still trying to decide on the color scheme...torn between a silver and flats black (no, not a Raiders fan, just think it would look good) or Harley-Davidson Orange and gloss black. Whaddaya think?

The 88 240. If I do the Orange/gloss black, the roof, door pillars will be Orange, lower part black. If I do the silver/flat black, the roof, door pillars and center of hood and trunk will be silver, rest black. I'll take some mock up photos to give ya a better idea.

That might look like the Grim Reaper's Sunday driver...
Orange is really not my color, and mixed with black, it reminds me of Halloween.

I looked at it and said to myself, "nah, not today" and went back inside to enjoy the A/C. Productive, huh?

I went looking for a 1990-98 Honda Accord--sat in the seat--not half as comfortable as my 2000 s80 t6--but easy to work on. My s80 needs a tranny, tie rod ends, alarm module, power steering service, among other stuff---is what the dashboard tells me. But I put almost 200,000 miles on her---got a few speeding tickets---gonna run her till she dies!!!! And "BRAKE FAILURE--STOP SAFELY ASAP" --well I've been getiing that message for 3 years and it continues to stop just fine---too many sensors on these cars!!! Hey just found this site and joined tonight!!! Lots of good info here
