What did you do to your car today?
I use the "Original California Car Duster". While it doesn't do as it claims exactly (won't have to wash your car with water again!), it does prove to be an awesome tool to have between detailed washes. Get's the gravel dust off real good
Looks good. Glad you did this, since I've been thinking of doing it to mine. Nice to see what it will look like when it is done.
On wagon: Vacuumed the carpets and installed the rear floor mats that I washed.
On a 960: Cleaned all the parts on the secondary air system in an attept to clear a P0410 code. Not back after a 44 mile scan.
Put a Jerry rig fix on the sagging sun visor.

Installed new tires on my wagon. Took it to Wally World due to cost and boy did it cost me. First stop tried to charge me tripple what the 2nd stop cost. The 2nd stop cost me 5-1/2 hours and some scratches on my wheels. Phew! I'll suck it up and touch up the wheels. Hopefully next time I can get them done at Sam's club. They are good in my area.
It was time to take my 1999 S70 T5 for a wonderful drive from San Jose on route 130 to Patterson. I bought the car in May and recently finished fixing everything that was apparent when I got it.
It was a cloudless day in the mid 70's and low 80s.
The road up Mt Hamilton is steep, rough, and with too many bicycles and traffic for much fun. But the other side past the observatory in the San Antonio Valley is one of the best pieces of driving fun I know. I learned about it many years ago when I took up motorcycles. It is 120 squares miles patrolled by 1 sheriff and traffic is minimal. Some of the tight stuff is 20-30 mph and some around 60-70. Short straights allow blasting past beautiful pasture lands of golden, purple, and orange maturing grasses separating the oaks. It is classic California of the 1880s only with a paved road down the middle. Awesome with the windows down just taking in the challenge of the road and the beauty that surrounded it.
Now I'll plan to take IDP's advice and get a bigger sway bar set up and HD Bilsteins. I look forward to seeing how that changes things.
