item #7 on the list of 3281...
finally got around to fixing the adjuster on the driver's seat in the $400 wonder... now the wife'll be able to roll the seat foward enough to hit the pedals!

it was a profitable repair though, think I found about a dollar in change jamming the rollers!

Just put a custom 3" cat-back exhaust on my car with a Megan Racing muffler. I was worried it'd sound a little ricey but it sounds great. Not too loud with a really nice soft sound. way better than before. all in all everything was 300 with 125 spent on the muffler itself.

went to replace timing belt yesterday... got the seals replaced, and when I went to assemble everything, is when I noticed the timing belt tensioner pulley is shot... next week to have a new one get here, without astronomical shipping fees.... looks like a junkyard run before work!

Yea, it's pretty rough. I just did a long post about the dynamics of the whole timing belt situation. Pretty much if everything wasn't replaced last time or you're not sure, it's best to prepare to change EVERYTHING. It's the difference of the cost being $200 for all the parts and someone doing the job for you for $400 to $800.

Check your belt pulley. Maybe it needs to be replaced before it breaks and leaves you sitting on the side of the road.

What did I do today? Drove it.

Just need it to last till Feb. 22nd.

In the mail are spark plugs, fuel filter, samco intercooler pipes. Got 6 quarts of oil sitting in the driver seat waiting to go in with all the other goodies.

Upper radiator hose on the T-5R. Wasn't real easy to find locally.

So I just checked the hose price on FCP and was shocked how much cheaper it was there. It was just a $20 part locally. I could have ordered it from FCP and had it dropped at my door. I'll never purchase another part locally without checking FCP prices again.

I dropped an aluminum picture frame onto an otherwise perfect bumper that I just spent $500 to repaint 5 months ago. Yay me. :|

PITA, but very doable. The hog clips is what makes the job difficult. The ones on the outer perimeter are easy, but when you get to the inner ones, oh boy. I uses zip ties to make it easier. But how long will they last, we'll have to wait and see.

Where did you get the replacement elements?
