What did you do to your car today?
Radio Mod Link: Radio mp3 Modification for the Volvo SC-813, SC-815 and SC-816 Car Stereo
S70: Today I pulled the dash pad out and replaced bulbs in the cluster. Also replaced a bulb in the ECC.

Made a second run at repairing the cluster. Heated all the solder points on the board where the connectors are and some other points. Installed it last night, now for the 1 week 200 mile test.
So far, since it is only noon...just put gas in the tank, but later...I had a list of things to do to it but it seems like I have lost it. So "later," I need to find that list!
Swapped the power amp out. Installed the 200w amp from a '96 and took out the 160w amp that came in the '95. Really can't tell the difference. I actually think my 160w amp had a little more kick.
Was at the jy the other day and decided to snag a coolant reservior. Mine looked brown and this one was nice and clear. Pulled mine yesterday and as I was pulling it I realized that my LOW COOLANT LIGHT was not working. I knew the coolant was low but didn't realize the LOW LEVEL WARNING was not working, so I double checked it and sure nuf, no light. Changed out the tank and was surprised how brittle the old one was. The tip of the overfill spout actually broke off in the hose that connected to it and the cap (green) was cracked on the top. All in all, I'd say it was past due the change. The $5 part was well worth it.

Uh, lemmesee. Yesterday my wife drove it home from the dealership. That new-car-leather smell is nice!
Today I'll order a set of OEM splash guards from eBay. And deal with the Sirius radio that didn't get activated.
Did I mention that the new-car-leather smell is nice?

Fixed the lower dash panel mounts on the drivers side. The plastic tabs have just crumbled away. I took some aluminum and cut it, then bent it to fit behind the panel, then glued them in with epoxy, tapped a hole, then screwed the panel up.
