Oil filter for VP 2012 5.7L 300 HP V8 engine
The engine in my 2011 boat appears to have replaced under warranty with the then current 2012 model which is a different model number but very similar. The oil filter called for is a 8692305 but that does not fit in the cartridge housing.
I do not see another cartridge oil filter listed other than the 8692305.
Not sure what the deal is but assume it's related to the engine swap.
