I have D6-370 from 2007 with 1000 hours run-time.
i have two cases of sudden shut-down of engine when running at cruise speed. It happened after sailing 3-4 hours at low speed, and 5-10 minutes after acceleration to Cruise speed the engine suddenly stops completely. Engine cannot start after shut-Down, however after 30 min standstill it starts perfectly.

it is not blocked diesel pipes, but Volvo dont have an answer.
Have anyone experienced this, and found the defekt?

 

First, look at the cooling system since overheating can make the engine shut down. Check for leaks, radiator blockages, or problems with the thermostat.
If the engine starts fine after sitting for 30 minutes, there might be a problem with the engine's electronic control module or sensors.
Also, check fuel injectors, fuel pumps, and turbocharger for any wear and tear. This can cause the engine to lose power or shut down unexpectedly, especially when you accelerate.

Also , there is a yellow triangle warninglight and the text ved man inst what I think means look into manual instruction but doesn't say what or where. Doenst look like overheating or any differences to the Port engine. Operates normal for hours and suddenly shuts off completely. Restart after 1 min completely normal but ⚠️ stays on. Clueless 🙈
