Default Running problem

I have a running problem with my AQ125a engine. While idling it runs great, (nice, smooth, strong) I can trolll out for about 5 min to by the no wake zone, once out it runs good for roughly 5 mins more, then it wants to die. I stick it in neutral and its fine( nice, strong, and smooth again) but when I put it back in gear, it wants to die again and I have to limp it back in to the docks. Seems like when it warms up in gear it looses power, warmed up out of gear its fine any ideas???

thanks

Default RE: Running problem

After fooling around for a week with it, I decided to start fresh, set the idle and air by the book and set the timing by the back, come to fine out the distributor was off 2 teeth. I don't know how this happened. The previous year it ran fine and NO ONE missed with it, but I pulled the distributor and reset it. I had to adjust the carb and timing one last time on the water but everthing seems to be fine.

Thanks for replying
