V6-200-G Hot start and Rough Idle issue
Hi Guys,
I have a 2016 v6-200-G that is having a starting issue.
Water and engine temp come up to operating temp fine. (No longer overheating due to air being sucked up from leg.)
After a while, if i turn the engine off, it struggles to start and sometimes will not start unless I let it cool down for 30min. Once started, Idle is rough and will die if left alone.
This issue is reproduceable while on the trailer and muffs.
I'm using a fuel pressure tester on the carter high pressure pump. I don't know what it should be so I don't know whether there is a problem here. This engine has two high pressure pumps. The one from the carter fuel pump module and a GM one as the block is from a Chevy Silverado.
The tester is reading 80psi and bouncing around +/- 5psi at idle and at 2000rpms from the carter pump.
