I have a loud annoying squeal on cold startup and slight acceleration all the time, it’s not the belts. It happens when the turbo spills up the slightest amount. Very loud and obnoxious. Any help thanks

Did you ever figure out what the problem was?I have the exact same problem on my 2012 Volvo S60 t5, and at first we thought it was the belt. Replaced and nope. So I have no clue

 

it was the exhaust manifold gaskets that are in between the manifold and the engine block
