A sad ending
This really saddened me. :-( and pissed me off If you haven't seen it prepare for total horror. The only solace it that the volvo fought to the bitter end.

How many others could have put up such a fight?

I can't believe you have such a friggin stupid programme there, I've just looked through Youtube and seen dozens of perfectly fine cars being destroyed by total ****ing idiots.
How sad that a consumer siociety has gone so far, destroying perfectly useful items for a quick cash fix, to buy something shiny and new.............
Regards, Andrew.

There was another thread that was started about that program. To be honest with you, it has nothing on what they do in Japan. I purchased a car there with about 11,000 miles on it for something like $1,900. They have to do so much to their 4 year old cars to keep them on the road they just TRASH THEM. If you are not a resident you don't have to keep the strict inspection requirements. Keeps their economy moving.
