99 v70 won't start after key was in ignition for 2 hours to reset radio
After replacing my car battery and putting a couple incorrect radio codes in, I finally found the actual code and in order to reset the radio from OFF to CODE, it was suggested that I leave the key in the ignition for 2 hours. This is exactly what I did and after putting the correct code in, my car would not start. It is a non-batter issue because all the lights are on and the charge was confirmed my a AAA technician. It seems to be the anti-theft system on the car because now my power door locks don't work. I only have one key with no key-less entry and tried locking/unlocking the doors 10 times to reset the alarm system. I have also disconnected the battery for prolonged periods of time with no success. After reading another person's post with the same problem they disconnected the ignition wire from the starter and re-connected it which seems to have fixed the problem. Any suggestions from people who have experienced a similar issue would be greatly appreciated. Now my radio works at least! haha.

No knowledge about your problem but I do know that you don't have to let your car sit to get the radio to give you a CODE display. Just drive around like normal, after 2 hours of driving the radio will reset for you to enter the code. Yes, believe it or not, your car will operate without the noise of the radio.
