suspension parts isn't the place to use cheap parts and Unity suspension parts are really the bottom of the barrel. The (2) sets I put on customer cars, 05 xc70, 06 s60 didn't last very long, the xc70 set kept breaking the front upper coil spring on both the driver and passenger side. in 7 months the customer finally went back to oem. on the s60, I could never get the springs to be totally quite. I had to use isolators in 3 different places and even then one of them darn coil springs would make some ungodly noise on certain bumps. other than that, they also are very bouncy in the front. like I said, oem is the only way to go when it comes to suspension parts. if you shop around, you can build the whole front end strut assemblies, both left and right sides for less than 450.00 which will last you another 10 years or more... and they will be only 50.00 more than the junky Unity brand
sachs strut 79.00 x 2 = 158.00
Lesjofors coil springs 42.00 x 2 = 84
volvo bellows 8.00 x 2 = 16.00
febi bump stop 6.00 x 2 = 12.00
volvo bump stop washer 6.00 x 2 = 12.00
oem spring seats 19.00 x 2 = 38,00
volvo spring seat star nut 7.00 x 2 = 14
Lemforder spring seat support plate 43.00 = 86.00
volvo upper insert washer 7.00 x 2 = 14.00

i used 1a auto struts on my s80 2001 t6, weren't too bad, held up pretty good.
the complete strut deals are getting better, just do your home work on them. sometimes oem is the best, but I have owned 5 used Volvos and can tell you I have never used oem on parts that I replace.
