Default 1983 245 DL Interior light time delay relay

Opening Driver door does not turn on Dome Light. Opening any of the other 3 doors does turn the Dome Light ON. Opening the Drivers door does sound buzzer if key is in ignition or headlights are on so the door switch is OK. I want to locate and test the INTERIOR LIGHT TIME DELAY RELAY but can't find it. I've got a BENTLEY Volvo 240 Service Manual and have read through the wiring diagrams but haven't been ably to locate that relay. Can anyone help me out here?

let me see if I can find the wiring for a 1983 240... ok, I don't have an '83 diagram, just '84.

huh, 1984 240's do have a separate relay for the courtesy delay, and its only invoked by the drivers door. its drawn as a round relay, and is tucked in above and right of the gas pedal but looks like its behind the center console panel... relay 167 in this drawing,
http://www.davebarton.com/pdf/relay_84_240_dash.pdf

looks like its above and forward of the door chime.

Default The invisible Interior Light Time Delay Relay

Hi, I've got the same drawing of relay locations in my Bentley manual but I can't find the relay or even an unused harness plug in that area. ( I did find an unused 6 pin plug on the left side of dash area near the "bulb failure sensor", I believe its for a Turbo models Fuel pump by the wire colors,#99). I pulled the instrument cluster out for a better view and the center console side and front panels as well. Still can't find it. The buzzer relay is mounted to pedal bracket, nothing north of that but ductwork. It may seem minor but I'd really like to get that light working. I appreciate your thoughts on this and any suggestions are welcome. I've learned ALOT from reading posts on this forum and I hope that I'll have something to share that's helpful to someone. I'm still looking, Jay

Default '83 245 DL Relay Race (Borg /Warner)

Here's a strange thought, my Warning Buzzer (Relay #67) is a large rectangular device with 10 wires attached. Larger than what is represented in the drawing in Bentley 390-3. I can't find relay #167 (light time delay) or relay #94 (fasten seatbelt). Could it be that Relays 94 & 167 are combined into relay #67? Some type of BORG (Star Trek) Warner life form?
I'm kidding about the BORG but my relay #67 is a lot bigger than what the book shows and also has 3 times the number of wires. Hey, this might be the helpful something I was hoping to contribute. Live long and prosper!
I still need help, lots of help...

Default Still can't find that interior light time delay relay

I pulled the instrument cluster for a better view but could not locate relay 167 or 94 either. I'm at a loss for what to do next. The driver door switch activates the buzzer when key is in ignition or running lights/head lights are on but will not turn on dome light.
