Please help, my 89 740 volvo cranks but will not start!

Yes, however, do you think I might need to check the coil, could that be a problem?

 

Yes you did check spark, fuel, and the injector pulse?

If you did, then what is missing?

Spark? Is that why you are asking about the coil?

When cranking, do all the warning lights on the dash light up or are any unlit? I ask because on my '87 740, a wire from the alternator had broken (related to the voltage regulator I believe), which prevents the car from starting. The clue was the unlit alternator warning light while cranking. Even if this warning light bulb is burned out, the same no-start condition will prevail.
