1989 volvo 240dl wag, fuel issue or electic?
Hello there,
First post but been looking here for awhile, found time to make a account and ask some questions!
I recieved my mom and dads 1st new car they ever got together, its a 1989 volvo 240dl wag, 2 years ago when it was givin to me, i drive it home and parked her as i didnt need her at the moment, 2 years past of it just sitting, i finaly need her haha, i go to start her up, nothing, so i try to listen for a fuel pump, i hear nothing, in my jetta i can clearly hear my fuel pump,
Things iv done, did a tune up from plugs to rotor and cap, new wires,
Still no start, i spray some starter fluid in there and she purrs for 4 seconds then dies, i read up some more and learned about the obd diognostics under hood, heres my main question
why does side number 2 led stay lit? Side number 6 i pull 1 1 1, side number to, i plug it in and the led stays lit???? No blinking or anything just solid red led when i plug it in number 2 spot,
Any help would be awesome, I'll continue to read up on the matter
