Talking 1990 B230FT or B230ET ????

Got a question for ya. In my Haynes manual (Volvo 740 and 760 1982 to 1991 (up to J registration) petrol) they mention the B230ET. Is this the same as the B230FT? I know that my motor is a B230FT where the 23 stands for 2.3 liter and the 0 is for overhead cam and the T is for Turbo. What does the E and F stand for?
