Default 1991 240 Brake Light

I have been having issues with my passenger side brake lights. A couple years ago, I was having trouble with water flowing into the brake light compartments. I tried drilling a hole in the compartment to drain the water but ended up breaking most of the comparment and having to cover it with lens repair tape. After driving around for a bit, I was pulled over for having a light out and had to replace the entire tail light section. After a couple months, I was pulled over again for having the same light out (even after the replacement). The same process has been repeated about 4 times with the same light. All the while, the light out indicator in the dash remains on. I'm not quite sure how to fix the problem.

Thanks for the help!

Check the plug to the tail light good. It might need to be cleaned and the connectors might need to be bent slightly to fit tighter.
