1991 volvo 740 break job
You will be fine with just doing pads for now i actually just did that myself but it is a good idea too do the rotors as well or you could just do them later and everything will work just fine.
no my breaks don't sqweek they i had ne tires put on and they said i needed a break job but idon't have the money to replace every thing right now but befor the pad really dig in to my roters i fig i would do pads first if that is a ok thing to do and do the rotters when i get the cash flow
There is NO NEED to touch the rotors if they are not warped or too thin. If you car doesn't shake while braking, then don't worry about the rotors. Shops like to do them for the extra $.
I believe ALL '91 Volvos in the US do have ABS. Under the hood, on the passenger side there should be a good size metal box with brake lines coming out of it and it should say ABS, Bosch, etc. on it.
