Default 1992 940, front end headlight swap?

ive gotten a running, decent 1992 940. had an accident with a deer in the front end and the headlight mounts are busted up. this model has the smaller headlights with the fog light between the headlight and grille.

my question is: i have a 94 940 parts car and it has the front end without the fog lights (just a small body piece between the grille and headlight). how much of a pain would this be to put onto the 92?

The parts you need to change over are: the headlights, (along with the all mounting bases), the grille, the corner lights. If you put the two cars side by side, it will be easier to swap over. Also, of course, you will need to connect the new set up electrically-there is a fog light switch and associated hardware. Pretty doable...

Thanks, sounds easy enough. Hardest part would be the wiring but I can't imagine it being too bad.

How about the hood? I heard they may be slightly different depending on the lighting setup? Even if it doesn't need to be changed I probably will do it anyways since the hood has damage as well, but I'm still not sure how far I'm willing to go with this whole project.

Perfect, thanks for the help. If only they were the same color.

also the brackets that support the grill are different with or without fogs, and the cross piece over the grill.
