1992 940 GL will not start after rollover
I am sad to report that the 1992 940 GL I have been posting about was rolled over. It speaks to the quality of the vehicle that no one was hurt but parts of the roof, hood and door were damaged. I hope to be able to get it repaired as soon as money permits.
In any event, the car will not start at this time. The engine turns over but will not catch. I tried starting fluid to no avail. Any suggestion of how to get the car started?
As always, thanks!

Have you disconnected the battery for 30+ minutes? If not, try that and reconnect it and try starting again.
Also, do not try to repair that car. Simply replace it. It's not worth the trouble or expense.

Thanks rspi. I did disconnect the battery for a few minutes and that did the trick. I was able to drive the vehicle to the local salvage lot and signed over the title. Come the new year we will start looking again for an older Volvo. I am convinced it saved my son and his passenger.
