Hey Everyone,

I need some extra parts for my 240. My current junkyard has had a few in the past few months but now they are no longer out there. I need a 5W tail light socket because the positive connector is loose on my current one and I have tried to get it to stay by bending it but it just wont. I also would like to find a working EGR valve with the metal hard line that connects to the back of the exhaust manifold. I believe mine may not be working. Also possibly an OD sensor. If I think of anything else I will let you guys know.

OK, the socket is easy...

The EGR valve, not. Have you tried to take one of those things off a 20+ year old Volvo?
In most cases they are too rusted to even come off in one piece. In the best of scenarios it is not a pleasant operation... Generous of you to offer to pay the price the JY will charge though...

 

Dude I took mine off to clean it and now it wont go back on. So I guess im Fu***d. The threads wont catch when I try to get the hard line back on the back of the EGR valve. Plus my car is throwing an EGR code 241. So I need to get this figured out.
