1992 Volvo 940 Crank no start, much help needed
I’ve been going at my 1992 Volvo 940 non-turbo Regina/Rex system most of the week.
Problem started Sunday when on the way home I lost power and the engine wouldn’t go past 1200rpms, wouldn’t accelerate and couldn’t get to more than 15-20 mph. I had to pull over, at this point I could start the engine but couldn’t go anywhere very fast, then it just wouldn’t start at all, as of today it starts for a second before giving up.
Ive found that the injectors arnt getting power, none of the inputs read 12vs when key is turned, after cranking I pulled the spark plugs and they were bone dry.
What I’ve checked:
Crank position sensor works
Radio suppression relay works
injection system relay works
Fuel pump primes
Fuel is getting to the fuel rail
I have spark
Ive been all over the wiring diagrams and I’m stumped, any sort of help is greatly appreciated
