Cool 1992 volvo stalls

Hi guys, we're a two volvo family in cincy.
love these spacious, beautiful monster cars.

problem: the 1992 940 sedan stalls unexpectedly, especially when on a hill or starting up after a stop at a traffic signal.

thusfar, I've read threads that suggested the following:

Crank position sensor,Egr sensor,Fuel pump,
Regina fuel pump,Throttle body/throttle body sensor
Air mass filter/meter,Ignition amplifier,Cam position sensor
Fuel pump relay,Fuel suppression relay
“White relay” Oxygen sensor, Copper trace run (behind instrument cluster),Distributor cap wires/ spark plugs

Fuel pump (one near filter, not the one in the tank)

Our normally fantastic mechanics are baffled.
My husband will consult someone else for the first time tomorrow.

Any additional suggestions? thx, d

So...when it stalls, does it immediately start back up? Other than the stalling, does the car run well? Has anyone pulled the diagnostic codes from the underhood data connection?
