1993 240 engine shakes

After new air flow meter installed by my mechanic, car runs rough like it is missing. Also the engine shakes at idle. Need help.

From: 37 North on the left coast

a) its a bad air flow meter

or

b) the airflow meter wasn't the main problem

or

c) the mechanic broke something else
