Default 1993 240 Shifter lock

I've got a 1993 240 wagon, automatic.

I just recently started having the problem of the shifter locking up. Even if I hit the override button (not sure if that is what that button is actually for) it won't move.

I have to take the cover off and manually move the little locking mechanism by hand to get it to go into gear.

I do I fix this?

check out the above link to a guy with similar problem and it ended up being the switch?
OD or Safety neutral....solenoid on tranny? the post does not specify what fuse was causing the problem........it is stated on the comments

That's the shifter solenoid that releases the shifter at the application of the brakes to avoid "unintended acceleration"... It is at the shifter.

FIXED!!!

Checked out the video, in the comment section a guy says check the 7th fuse down.

Sure enough, 7th fuse was there but somehow the connection got bent (have no idea how behind the cover, damn electrical leprechauns). A little bend and pop it back in and problem solved.
