Default 1994 940 Sedan

I am needing to replace the 3 V-Belts on my Volvo. The question "can it be done from the top side without getting under it to loosen any mounting bolts for the AC, PS? I can find the correct points to loosen for the Alternator but not the AC or PS unit. Had shoulder surgery back in February and do not want to tackle to big a job. Searched for links on how to do this but did not have any luck. Any, help appreciated. Thanks in advance This is a non turbo vehicle.

Nah... The ALT ok, but the AC you definitely have to go under. Not sure about the PS... don't recall.

On mine I did it all from the top without having to get under the car. The A/C is the one with the least space. I don't remember if I had to use any special odd-ball tools like a 90 degree ratchet screwdriver but I know I was able to do it.

Hello again
Just thought I would follow up on this post and let the readers know what I found. On my wife's 940 had to remove the wind "shield" underneath to get to the AC and PS unit bolts. One was at the bottom, and one at the top of the AC compressor. The same thing on the PS pump. Got my son to help me and we got them replaced without much difficulty, once we removed the underside unit. Thanks again to all for your help and advice.
