Default 1995 940

Hello

i was wondering what parts i can put in my car to make it go faster, like more HP or something, because i dont like the way the car behaves, it is not really fast.......also my car has this problem, i dont know how to explain it but ill try, whenever i start the car, the RPM will go down to like 500 or so, and maybe lower and the car will turn off, the only reason for me to stop this is by accelerating the car and it will get fixed after like 1 min, anyone have any idea whats wrong?

I assume the car is a Non-turbo model.
There isn't all that much you can do. IPD sells a cam that will gove you a couple of HP'S but not much.

Also for the idle problem clean the throttle body and idle motor and that should fix it.

Look for the Air filter box. That will tell you if it is turbo or not.
Also if it is turbo there will be metal pipes leading to the radiator area. They go to the intercooler.

This is dressed up a little your won't look exactly like this if you have turbo. But look at the picture.

The crome pipes in the picture is similiar to what you need to look for.

No there isn't.
It would be best to sell it and buy a turbo car if you want power.

Sorry to say that but it is the truth.

The 850 is a front wheel drive car. It has a 5 cylinder motor. Either in Turbo or Non-turbo.
In some ways it is better and in other ways it isn't.

It is all preference.

The lens covers are hard to find try E-bay.
If not buy aftermarket headlights.

There are several companies that have headlight/plastic cleaners and polishes. Also you could wet sand with some 2000 grit sandpaper and then polish them up. Cheers

On my Mustang I use Mother Mag and Aliminum Polish. It works wonders on the lights.
It will take you a little while and a little elbow grease but it will clean up some.
