A new volvo owner looking for some advice. I have a 1995 940 sedan (non-turbo) with 50,000 miles. Car runs fairly well, but has an A6 fault code of 142 which seems to refer to a "control module". Would this be an ignition control module? There seems to be a number of modules that it could be. Symtoms are periodic times of no acceleration from a stop, high speed missing (65mph), but other times car accelerates fine from a stop. Changed the usual... plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor, fuel injector cleaner, sea foam treatment. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
