Default 1995 940 - no stop lights

just a minor problem. The car has no brake and high mount lights when the brake pedal is depress. Check #4 fuse with test light- ok. check power at brake light switch at pedal - none. After reading and research, there is a relay for the bulbs that could be the problem. Is it located behind the fuses. I see a red round relay way back behind the fuses. I remove the cluster to reach it with no success. How do I get to it. Thanks

The piece of dash directly above the fuses can be removed. That will give you more access.

There is a plastic plate/cover over the cigarette lighter. Remove that cover and you will see a Phillips head screw in the upper left corner. Remove that screw and you can then remove the dash piece.

I'm not sure about the likelihood but it's possible.

I have a YouTube video on this exact issue, and how to fix it for FREE. If you're ok with soldering, this is the cheaper way to go.
