1995 940 Wagon CD changer installation
I have a 1995 940 Wagon, 125k miles, and wish to install a CD changer. I found an ALPINE, OEM CD changer on ebay, and now need to install it.
Does anyone know if there is simply a wire harness in the rear and I would simply need to mount and plug in? Or is it more involved with more wiring needed? I cannot find any directions in the user manual.
On another note, the radio had a lot of static and only played on the left side when turning on, until a high volume was reached, at which point it worked. I removed the radio unit, placed it vertical, and sprayed contact cleaner into the power/volume control area. Works beautifully afterwards.
