240 rear end

hey has anyone ever welded up a rear end on a 240, or can you get positrac kits for them?I know its kinda stupid but its somthing i would like to try.I have a few 240s here sooo

ive seen people weld the spider gears togather on trucks before never a volvo...but it has never turned out good.
