I am looking to take a good front windshield from a donor car and install into my 1980 244. I have no idea where to start. Any ideas would be great .....thanks. I am just starting an engine swap too, so more questions to come. Thanks very much.

240 windshields are one of the hardest windshields to remove without breaking.I recommend you call a professional glass service and have them replace it.Also have it replaced with 91 to 93 windshield and trim.The newer type windshield just has a flat plastic molding that is better looking,is flusher with the body,and therefore produces less wind noise.
