740 GLE timing problem

Default 740 GLE timing problem

I have a 1988 740 GLE non-turbo.Today I replaced the timing belt and after putting it back together I noticed that I had a tremendous lose of power but, the car is running smooth.What have I done wrong.HELP

Did you check and make sure the timing marks are lined up properly?

Yes,I think that may be the crank could be off a little bit.Would that cause my problem?

Yes but make sure you look at the marks on the timing Gear setup.

Don't go by the outer pulley it might have spun making the timing mark off.
