Default 740 problems

Hello, My 740 has alot of problems. My Hand Brake does not work at all. Sometimes my engine revs up on idle without me touching the gas. My rear right tail light cover has fallen off (it needs to be replaced). Some punk kids knocked off both of my front turn signal covers (those need to be replaced). And i hear some type of hissing noise at all times when im running the car. And i think i have a transmission leak, because before i put in more trans fluid i have in drive if i hit the gas then all you hear is revs and no go. But i have to replace it like every day. If anyone could help me repair this i would like that great.

Default RE: 740 problems

1. Have you tried adjusting your E-brake cable in the center console?
2.If you hear a hissing noise you need to find that first before your idle problems will go away.Possible brake booster.Does the idle go up with your foot on the brake?
3.You can try to find a taillight in a salvage yard held in bye 6 or 8 nuts.Your fron turn signals depends on the year of your car.If you have 2 headlights perside they should be held in with 2 nuts.If you have the new style 2 headlight total they are held in by a plastic tab.
4. Buy some brake cleaner or a good grease cleaner and clean your transmission good.Start it up and let it idle and watch for fluid to leak.Possible trans pan gasket.
