Default 740 turbo stopped running

hello. Am new member and have problem with newly acquired '90 740 turbo with 175,000 miles. Was driving yesterday for about 5 miles at gentle speeds from 0 up to 50 mph and car just died while doing 30 mph. No hesitation, nothing. Just stalled and quit. Check engine light flickered briefly. Put in neutral and coasted to stop. Towed it home and will start working on it when rain stops. Previous to ride, had put about 1/4 can of seafoam in gas tank that has @ 6 gal in it. Turbo gauge iis resting at 12 noon posistion. Cranked engine a few times after it died but nothing and cranking didn't sound strong. Stopped, didn't want to cause any damage. Am trying to come up with plan of attack. What could it be ?? All advice and suggestions as to possible problems/solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Pull the timing cover and see if the belt snapped.

Get something to check spark at the wires and check the battery. If those things check out then maybe your timing belt snapped. The belts are supposed to be changed every 50k.

hello
thank you all. It is the timing belt. hopefully no other damage. will see.
will add my 2 cents re: replacing timing belt. Unless you are 100% sure job was
recently done, do it RIGHT AWAY. Don't wait.
regards

It is possible you have bent valves now.

Isnt the B230FT a non-interference engine?
