'85 740, won't crank

Sorry about this, but another new problem has arisen. The starter won't crank. I think I can hear the relay click, so I think it is just a bad starter? Is there any way to check on these cars? Thanks, yet again.

If you have power to the small wire when the key is in the Start position the starter is bad.

try giving the starter a good smack...some times it will get it mooving again.
