I finally got my 87 240 running. Turned out to be a bad Fuel Pump relay. I drove the car for a few days and it was fine. Yesterday I went to start it and the battery was dead. This surprised me since the battery is 2 weeks old. I got a boost and it started right up. Problem is, when I took the key out of the ignition I could still hear the main fuel pump (under the car) running. This is why my battery was dead. Any ideas about what to check to get this corrected? A short maybe? Help....
