I just bought a 740 GLE and am trying to get some of the cosmetic details worked out while saving to replace the exhaust system. One thing I'm trying to find is a replacement rear licence plate holder, and front screws for the front. I Could buy front screws at the hardware store, but am curious if OEM screws are still available. So far all rear holders I've found on the internet are for 1990 models not specified for the 740.

 

'90 will fit an '88 just fine... OEM screws? Well, in case of license plates, I don't believe they came from Volvo anyway...
