Hey all,
A while ago, my '89 740 Turbo was wrecked in an accident (11 o' clock angle into a curb), and I have recently purchased a '93 940 Turbo. Problem is, the 940's been abused and barely runs (IF it runs). So, I was considering the option of exchanging the forward axles in an endeavor to fix the old 740. In other words, the question is this:
Are the forward axles from the '89 740-T and the '93 940-T interchangeable?
Cars in question:
1993 Volvo 940 Turbo Station Wagon:
1989 Volvo 740 Turbo Station Wagon (11 o' clock angle into a curb, then hit a pole; engine still runs):
