hey guys, our family bought our volvo new in 91 ( 740 Turbo wagon, green). I have always noticed that the brakes were never very good, i think they were too weak for the weight that the car had, i was wondering if any one else thought this too or noticed this... thanks

 

I don't know about the weak diagnosis but with 740's brakes and exhaust
are the biggest periodic maintenance. Pads, rotors, calipers, pads, rotors, calipers...

Opt for a stainless Cat-back and save big in the long Volvo haul.

 

I was once told that the reason my brakes on the 240 were needing replacement so frequently was because the shocks were so bad....i've never confirmed that and would like to here some oppinions on the matter but i'll start a new post for it
