Default 92' 740 turns over but doesn't start after 3 weeks

Found a $300 92' 740 w/ 280k miles. About three weeks ago I drove it home and then it sit, last night I went out to start it and it'll just crank over. I checked the fuel relay behind the ashtray along with some other fuses (fuel pump relay clicks as it should w/ key turned to Pos II), sounds like the in-tank pump is working (can smell gas after cranking), also noticed the RPM guage wasnt working, I cant recall if the tach was working or not when I bought it. Could the CPS have failed? I'm almost positive it could be the crankshaft position sensor giving me issues, but I also read about the radio suppression relay having problems. I located the RSR near my coolant reservoir and the 4 pins look real corroded, I also read about swapping the fan relay in place of the RSR which I might try tonight. Any ideas would be real helpful! Thanks.

Corroded RSR

Switch the RSR, change the Crank sensor, you are on the right track...

Get a good OEM CPS, it's a critical part.

Default Stuck again

What else would cause the tachometer to quit moving? I've replaced the crank position sensor twice, and let it sit for 6 days now. Will not start now. Rsr is also newer.

are you talking about the wires that plug into the ignition amplifier next to the coil?
