Hello all,
My 1992 940GL with about 180,000 miles on it just started to not shift into 4th gear. I have not noticed anything else wrong with shifting into any of the other gears, or seen/heard anything unusual. The RPM's just keep climbing and nothing happens.The little button on the site of the shifter that locks out 4th is disengaged and the transmission fluidhas beenchanged recently. The only thing I see is that the shifter itself is slightly loose up and down. I have seen about solenoid problems or rod adjustments. Does anyone have any ideas where I should begin.
