Default rough idle when engine cold

Hey all,

Sorry if this question has been asked 100x. My problem is this:

When the engine is cold and is warming up, the idle is a little rough and sputters a little also. If I press on the gas, the engine hesitates and almost stalls out, before "catching" and reving up to higher rpms.

Once the motor is warmed up, idle is fine and it will only slightly hesitate occasionally. Besides that, it runs like a tank.

I just cleaned the throttle body, but still having the same issues. Sprayed starter fluid over intake areas, and that appears to be sealed tightly. All hoses are tight and sealed up. Air filter is clean, plugs are perfect, air/fuel mixture on point. Very powerful outside of the cold engine problems stated above.

Any thoughts?

Has is your "tune up"? Plugs, wires, rotor, etc. Besides that, may be the coolant temp. sensor is off, not giving the cold motor the extra fuel it needs...

Yup, has new rotors, wires, cap, and all that stuff. I'll have to check out this coolant sensor. Thanks for the info
