Just wondering how much HP this engine could handle without building it? Does anyone have any tips about what I should do to it for more HP? Would a turbo kit be too much for it? this car has 220,000 miles but has been very well maintained most of its life. the oil still stays clear for awhile after an oil change.

If someone could direct me with links that would be great also.

Ahhh....yes. good old RWD turbo power. Stock should be ~160hp and ~195tq.

My car had 248,000 miles when I started to do stuff to the motor. It blew the headgasket, so after we fixed that I though. humm Might aswell start adding more fun to the car.

The stock motor can take a good mount of extra boost. I have had zero problems with mine. I need to DYNO it, but i am probably ~200whp (maybe 190ish), ~240wtq.... just a rough guess......

Post questions.....some can probably answer them here or another forum.....

I am done with the 740 and turning towards the 240, which I plan to have a monster when I get funds....
