93 240 dash lights on but thats it.
93 240 , tried starting car today but turn key and I got dash lights but thats it. No crank or nothing, like car is in drive trying to start it. tried neutral also. got voltage to solenoid and starter. Any ideas, Neutral Safety Switch? If thats possibly, is there a way to by-pass it and where is it located? Trying to avoid a tow charge if I can. Thank You All, Richard

if you got voltage on the control wire to the solenoid (pin 50, the blue-yellow wire) when you twist the key to 'start', then it should have cranked over.
there's a 2 pin connector between the park/neutral safety switch and the rest of the circuit, I believe this is on one or the other side of the steering hump near the center console, under the carpet. on one side, there's a pink and blue-yellow wire, on the other side, its blue and blue-yellow.. if you jumper pink to blue-yellow, that would bypass the park-neutral switch.
you can also bypass it under the hood... there's a 2-pin light blue connector that has one pink wire, this is for a mechanics manual start button. make a jumper wire, and run it from that connector and the pink wire to pin 50 (blue-yellow) on the starter, this will completely bypass the safety switch and let the car start in any gear.
