Default '93 Heater Control Valve Torx adjustment

Hi Everyone,

I have continual heat from my '93 245 even when the slider is in the cold position. The slider moves pretty easily, but I plan to do some disassembly this weekend to see if its actually adjusted correctly. I've been reading about a Heater Control Valve torx adjustment screw to fine tune the heating. Couple of quick questions so I'm pre-armed when I squash this older/somewhat rotund body under the dash. 1) Apparently '92-'93 cars got an upgraded control valve, but I can't seem to determine if they still have the adjustment torx screw. 2) If they do, which direction to I turn the screw to turn the heat down? I'd prefer not to find the direction by trial and error if possible.

Thanks in advance...
