Best way to remove a stripped Torx?
Welcome to the club
.
- Grab it with a Vise-grip/locking plier & turn it.
- Use abrasive compound (forgot the exact name)with your current Torx.
- Take a small chisel/flat-blade screwdriver, aim it at the edge of the screw & hit with a hammer CCW.
- If more than 2 screws, remove one & try rotating whatever is being held.
- Spray PB Blaster, take a small flat-blade screwdriver that fits the screw and try rotating it.
If nothing else seems to work, see attached...[8D]

Use a dremel drill or other similar tool with a very small cutting wheel to make a "slot" in it so that you can use a flat-bladed screwdriver. Also, if you can find a way to rig it up during dry time, use an old screwdriver bit and JB Weld, and attach the bit to the screw, let it dry, and twist it out.
Good ideas, it's just in such an awkward and delicate place on the plastic lens of the license plate. I'm thinking the adhesive method may work best.
Thanks- any new ideas welcome.
